Geneva proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 44) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Mynderse Academy Blue Devils 50-47. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Geneva's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Mynderse Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
