Basketball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by the Keller Indians 67-25. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Texans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-38 back in January.

Keller found their leader in sophomore Cash Erdmann, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave Erdmann a new career-high. Evan Dyniewski was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-27. As for Keller, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-14.

Looking ahead, Northwest will take on V.R. Eaton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Keller, they will challenge Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
