Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short

Lincoln County lost against Warren County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lincoln County Falcons fell 64-57 to the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers are ranked 66th).

Warren County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Devin Fish, who went 6 for 14 en route to 18 points. Nathan Turner was another key player, putting up ten points and six boards.

Lincoln County is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13. As for Warren County, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will take on Columbia Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warren County, they will challenge Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
