Volleyball Game Preview: Thornton Trojans vs. Gateway Olympians + Official Tickets

The Thornton Trojans will head out to square off against the Gateway Olympians at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Thornton, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Thornton got the win against Aurora Central by a conclusive 3-0. Thornton hasn't had any issues with Aurora Central recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Gateway came up short against DSST: Green Valley Ranch on Monday, falling 3-0. The Olympians haven't had much luck with the Raptors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-14.

Gateway's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Thornton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Thornton took their victory against Gateway in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Olympians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
