Volleyball Recap: Manti Triumphs

Manti's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The Templars haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: Gunnison Valley scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 28-26.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shae King, who had 11 digs. King is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.

Manti's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Gunnison Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Manti will square off against Granger at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gunnison Valley, they will challenge Beaver at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
