Basketball Game Preview: Herriman Mustangs vs. Hurricane Tigers

The Herriman Mustangs will challenge the Hurricane Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Herriman has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three contests.

On Friday, Herriman blew past Deseret Peak, posting a 56-18 win. Fans of the Mustangs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 64 points the game before, Hurricane was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They took a blow against Pleasant Grove, falling 70-20. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-12.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Elle Jenson and Laynee Walker, who each put up six points. Jenson also led the team in rebounds with six.

Hurricane's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Herriman, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
