Soccer Game Preview: Southern Guilford vs. Northern Guilford + How To Watch

An exciting North v. South battle is about to be fought. The Southern Guilford Storm will head out on the road to face off against the Northern Guilford Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Southern Guilford proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Eastern Guilford 2-1. The game was the first time Southern Guilford have beaten Eastern Guilford on their pitch since October 25, 2018.

Anthony Silva was the driving force of Southern Guilford's attack as he scored both of Southern Guilford's goals, bringing his season total up to ten goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northern Guilford). They never let Northeast Guilford get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for Northern Guilford as they're now sitting on six straight.

Southern Guilford's win bumped their record up to 6-9-1. As for Northern Guilford, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-2.
