Volleyball Recap: Pearce Mustangs vs. North Forney Falcons
Pearce had won eight straight games and Emily Wissner did her part to make it nine on Friday. The Pearce Mustangs put the hurt on the North Forney Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory thanks in part to Wissner, who had six digs and 14 assists. She has been hot , having posted 12 or more assists the last seven times she's played.
Pearce's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping North Forney between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.
Kendall Timme paced Pearce's offense, picking up 21 kills. Timme got some help from
Samantha Woulfe and her 20 assists.
Adele Bailey controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
