Volleyball Game Preview: Atkins Camels vs. Walkertown Wolfpack

Atkins is 2-8 against Walkertown since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Camels will head out to face off against the Wolfpack at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Atkins lost 3-0 to North Davidson on Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-6, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Walkertown came up short against Bartlett Yancey on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Walkertown was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24, 25-16.

Walkertown's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Atkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Atkins suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Walkertown in their previous meeting back in August. Can the Camels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
