Plainview had already won four in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They didn't even let the Fyffe Red Devils on the board, marking their second-straight 10-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Plainview's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fyffe, they dropped their record down to 2-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
