Benedictine has gone a perfect 4-0 against New Hampstead recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cadets will face off against the Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. Benedictine is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

On Friday, Benedictine made easy work of Perry and carried off a 41-17 victory. With the Cadets ahead 24-3 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, New Hampstead hadn't done well against Wayne County recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Phoenix were the clear victors by a 34-13 margin over the Yellow Jackets. The Phoenix's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Benedictine's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for New Hampstead, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7.

Everything went Benedictine's way against New Hampstead in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Benedictine made off with a 44-22 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cadets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
