Baseball Recap: Alliance Beats Tuscarawas Valley for Their Third Straight Victory

Alliance entered their tilt with Tuscarawas Valley on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Trojans 13-3. With that win, the Aviators brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

DiAngelo Fisk was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Reese, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Alliance hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive contests.

Alliance's record now sits at 9-4. As for Tuscarawas Valley, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-5.

Coming up, Alliance will venture away from home to challenge Field at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Aviators will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
