Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin-Simpson). Everything went their way against the Calloway County Lakers on Friday as they made off with a 56-34 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Franklin-Simpson's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points over those games. As for Calloway County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Franklin-Simpson and Calloway County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Wildcats see the field they'll take on Logan County at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Calloway County, their break will end when they face Allen County-Scottsville at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
