Cerro Gordo/Bement is 3-0 against Villa Grove since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos will face off against the Villa Grove Blue Devils at 2:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row, Cerro Gordo/Bement turned things around against Blue Ridge on Monday. They took down the Knights 51-35.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Villa Grove). They breezed by Okaw Valley to the tune of 49-15 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

With the win, Villa Grove broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, their record now sits at 4-16.

Cerro Gordo/Bement strolled past Villa Grove when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 43-28. Will Cerro Gordo/Bement repeat their success, or does Villa Grove have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
