Basketball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Sheridan's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Sheridan lost to Dayton back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Sheridan Spartans came out on top against the Dayton Pirates by a score of 49-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Sheridan is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Dayton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Sheridan will head out on the road to challenge Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dayton has already played their next contest (against Blanchet Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
