Baseball Recap: Normandy Invaders vs. Valley Forge Patriots
Normandy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Valley Forge, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's match. The Invaders blew past the Patriots 11-1 on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Invaders as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Andrew Sikon was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Normandy is 2-1 when Sikon allows three or fewer hits, but 2-11 otherwise. Sikon was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Normandy's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Valley Forge, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Looking ahead, Normandy will challenge North Olmsted at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley Forge, they will face off against Orrville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
