Baseball Game Preview: Orange Panthers vs. Savanna Rebels

The Orange Panthers will challenge the Savanna Rebels at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Orange hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Orange will face Savanna after dropping another heartbreaker against Century on Friday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Panthers came up short against the Centurions, falling 8-2.

Orange got a good showing from Jason Huerta, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Furthermore, Huerta didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March.

On the hitting side, Orange saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Norwalk, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Savanna got the win against Anaheim on Friday by a conclusive 11-4. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Savanna's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-9. As for Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16-1.
