It was a good run, but Mason County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 63-48 bruising from the Bracken County Polar Bears. The Royals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Polar Bears earlier this season, when they won 61-55.

Mason County's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 19-9. As for Bracken County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-10.

As of now, neither Mason County nor Bracken County have any future games scheduled.
