Basketball Recap: Covenant's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Covenant had lost three straight headed into Tuesday's match, but Josh Hook didn't let it get to four. The Covenant Knights walked away with a 57-50 win over the Dallas HSAA Red Blue Angels on Tuesday thanks in part to Hook, who went 7 of 13 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and five rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Covenant's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 20-14. As for Dallas HSAA Red, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covenant will venture away from home to face off against Coram Deo Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Covenant is facing Coram Deo Academy at the right time seeing as Coram Deo Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Dallas HSAA Red has already played their next contest (against St. Mark's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
