Lansing entered their tilt with Hayden on Saturday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lansing easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21.

Avery Sands paced Lansing's offense, picking up 16 kills. Sands got some help from Brooklyn Andrews and her 19 assists. Sami Gray controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lansing's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Hayden, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-4.

Lansing didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Seaman on the 27th. As for Hayden, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Spring Hill on the 27th.
