Baseball Recap: Euclid Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Euclid's offense. They came up short against the Medina Battling Bees on Thursday, falling 18-0. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Euclid's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Medina, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Euclid will face off against Medina Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Medina, they will head out on the road to square off against GlenOak at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Battling Bees 2.4, the Golden Eagles 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
