Webster County had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the McLean County Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row dating back to last season.
This is the second loss in a row for McLean County and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webster County will take on Paducah Tilghman at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for McLean County, they will challenge Butler County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
