Meridian is 9-1 against Farwell since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Meridian Mustangs will welcome the Farwell Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Meridian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Thursday, Meridian didn't have quite enough to beat Shepherd and fell 49-46.

Meanwhile, Farwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 37th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 56-13 loss at the hands of Standish-Sterling. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 744th, while the Panthers are ranked 100th).

Farwell's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Meridian, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Everything came up roses for Meridian against Farwell when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 62-21 victory. Does Meridian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Farwell turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
