There's no place like home for Bradley-Bourbonnais, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Stagg Chargers on Monday as they made off with an 18-7 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Boilermakers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Eric Rainbolt made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cody Freitas, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Mason Shaul, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Bradley-Bourbonnais kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.6.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Stagg, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-22.
