Basketball Game Preview: Hazen Wildcats vs. Twinfield Trojans

Hazen has gone 3-0 against Twinfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Hazen Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Twinfield Trojans at 11:00 a.m. Hazen is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Tuesday, Hazen was fully in charge, breezing past Williamstown 65-23. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 31 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Twinfield hadn't done well against Blue Mountain recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Twinfield secured a 32-28 W over Blue Mountain. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Hazen's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Twinfield, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Everything came up roses for Hazen against Twinfield in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 59-17 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hazen since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
