Basketball Recap: Marble Falls Takes a Loss

Marble Falls lost to Gateway College Preparatory back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marble Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Gateway College Preparatory, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marble Falls will face off against rival Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gateway College Preparatory is set to square off against their familiar foe Jarrell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
