Volleyball Recap: Seabreeze Beats Father Lopez for Their Third Straight Victory

Seabreeze hadn't done well against Father Lopez recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Sandcrabs came out on top against the Green Wave by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Sandcrabs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Seabreeze walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 21-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Seabreeze got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lilli Litz out in front who had 13 digs and three aces. Litz has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played. Brianna Dicks was another key player, getting three digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Seabreeze was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Addie Sheridan and Isabella Bosinski certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Sheridan had 21 digs, while Bosinski had 19 digs, 15 kills, and seven aces.

Seabreeze's record now sits at 3-0. As for Father Lopez, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Seabreeze has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Menendez on the 28th. As for Father Lopez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Mainland on the 28th.
