Basketball Recap: East Buchanan Takes a Loss

East Buchanan was the 43-36 winner over Lafayette County when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The East Buchanan Bulldogs took a 39-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lafayette County Huskers. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

East Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Lafayette County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

East Buchanan has already played their next game (against Lafayette), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lafayette County will head out on the road to square off against Richmond at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Richmond has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
