Softball Recap: Brewer Witches vs. Camden Hills Windjammers
Brewer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Camden Hills Windjammers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Witches of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.
Brewer saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrey Loupin, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That stolen base was Loupin's first of the season.
Brewer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Camden Hills, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Witches 2.8, the Red Eddies 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Camden Hills will square off against rival Skowhegan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
