Basketball Recap: South Umpqua Takes a Loss

South Umpqua was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 45-29 to the Waldport Irish.

South Umpqua's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Waldport, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

South Umpqua will be home for the holidays to greet Gold Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Waldport, they are taking a road trip to square off against Powers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Waldport is facing Powers at the right time seeing as Powers is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
