Basketball Recap: Ridgeline Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Ridgeline had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 37-point drubbing they dealt Mt. Spokane on Friday. The Ridgeline Falcons blew past the Mt. Spokane Wildcats 67-30. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 32 points or more this season.

Leading Ridgeline to victory were Emma Myers and Madilyn Crowley. Myers went 9 for 12 on her way to 22 points, while Crowley dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, Myers is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Cayce Paske was another key player, putting up seven points along with eight boards and four steals.

Ridgeline smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Ridgeline's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Mt. Spokane, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
