Soccer Game Preview: Magnolia vs. Tomball Memorial

The Magnolia Bulldogs will face off against the Tomball Memorial Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Magnolia has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight losses, while Tomball Memorial will come in with four straight victories.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Magnolia's offense. They lost 3-0 to Klein Oak on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tomball Memorial). They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Shadow Creek two weeks ago. It was an even better day for Kegan Alter as he scored three goals for his team.

Magnolia now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Tomball Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Magnolia came up short against Tomball Memorial in their previous matchup back in March of 2018, falling 3-1. Can Magnolia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
