Kofa is 2-8 against Cibola since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Kings will venture away from home to face off against the Raiders at 3:45 p.m. Kofa is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
Kofa will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Gila Ridge, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Kings blew past the Hawks 9-0 on Monday.
The result came thanks to Gael Vargas's shutout, as he gave up just three hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Kofa is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise.

Jason Garcia was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Alek Ornelas also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
The win got Kofa back to even at 9-9. As for Cibola, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Kofa came out on top in a nail-biter against Cibola in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Kings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
