Soccer Game Preview: Killeen vs. Temple

Killeen hasn't had much luck against Temple recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Kangaroos will host the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m.

Killeen is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Shoemaker 4-1 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Killeen considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Temple faced off against Midway on Thursday. Neither the Wildcats nor the Panthers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Killeen's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-10. With that draw, Temple's record moves to 3-11-3.
