Basketball Recap: World of Inquiry Beats Edison Tech for Their Third Straight Win

World of Inquiry entered their tilt with Edison Tech on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 70-53 victory over the Edison Tech Inventors. Given the Griffins' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Inventors are ranked 692nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

World of Inquiry's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kanaz Linder, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 21 points and seven rebounds. Linder's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Curtis Bell, who posted 17 points.

World of Inquiry's record is now 17-2. As for Edison Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Coming up, World of Inquiry will be playing at home against Lyons at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lyons knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully World of Inquiry likes a good challenge. Edison Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
