Softball Game Preview: Scott Eagles vs. Notre Dame Academy Pandas

Scott hasn't had much luck against Notre Dame Academy recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Eagles will head out to take on the Pandas at 11:00 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Scott lost 16-4 to Bracken County on Friday.

Jaydyn Corbin made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamie Golden, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame Academy fell victim to Simon Kenton and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Pioneers, falling 14-0. The Pandas have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Notre Dame Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Scott might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Notre Dame Academy when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
