Soccer Recap: George Washington Prep Takes a Loss

George Washington Prep managed to keep up with Hawkins until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The George Washington Prep Generals came up short against the Hawkins Hawks, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 992nd, while the Hawks are ranked 429th).

George Washington Prep dropped their record down to 5-5-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hawkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
