Baseball Game Preview: Mulberry Panthers vs. Eustis Panthers

For the second straight game, Mulberry will face off against Eustis. Mulberry will be playing at home against Eustis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Mulberry's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Eustis has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Mulberry is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They skirted past Eustis 3-2. That's two games straight that Mulberry has won by just one run.

Gavin Stedman spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up 13 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mulberry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nic Partridge, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. AJ Medina was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Mulberry hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eustis struck out 13 times.
