Volleyball Recap: Coginchaug Regional Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Coginchaug Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Hale Ray Noises. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Noises this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 8th.

Coginchaug Regional took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-21.

Addison Costa paced Coginchaug Regional's offense, picking up six kills. Costa got some help from Peyton Smolley and her ten assists. Jenny Zaclli controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Coginchaug Regional's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Hale Ray, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Coginchaug Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Valley Regional on the 30th. As for Hale Ray, they will square off against Waterford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
