Volleyball Recap: Rhinelander Takes a Loss

Rhinelander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mosinee Indians, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hodags of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Rhinelander was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mosinee's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-17.

Rhinelander's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Mosinee, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-3.

Coming up, Rhinelander will take on Chequamegon at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mosinee, they will face off against Green Bay Southwest at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
