Soccer Recap: Old Lyme Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westbrook on Friday, Old Lyme came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Old Saybrook Rams on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Old Lyme haven't had much luck with Old Saybrook recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Old Lyme's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Old Saybrook, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Old Lyme will face off against rival North Branford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Old Saybrook is set to square off against their familiar foe Westbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
