Basketball Recap: ThunderRidge Gets the Win

ThunderRidge won the last time they faced Castle View, and Claire Wilson did her part to make sure it happened again. The ThunderRidge Grizzlies blew past the Castle View Sabercats 55-20 on Saturday thanks in part to Wilson, who went 9 of 13 on her way to 24 points and five rebounds. Those 24 points gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Gabbie Forsythe, who posted seven points. Forsythe is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Castle View still got an impressive performance from Vivian Yore, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

ThunderRidge's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Castle View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

ThunderRidge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-39 loss against Overland on the 10th. As for Castle View, they will take on Green Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on December 14th.
