Football Recap: Mt. Pleasant Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Solon, Mt. Pleasant was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 25-22 win over the Fairfield Trojans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Mt. Pleasant pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.5 points over those games. As for Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

As of now, neither Mt. Pleasant nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
