Volleyball Game Preview: Alvirne Broncos vs. Spaulding Red Raiders

Alvirne is 1-7 against Spaulding since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Broncos will square off against the Red Raiders at 5:15 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Alvirne came up short against Bedford on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Spaulding lost 3-0 to Portsmouth on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their meetings with the Clippers: they've now lost three in a row.

Spaulding's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Alvirne, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
