Recap: Capital HomeSchool vs. Noble-Whitley Warriors
Capital HomeSchool fought the good fight in their overtime match against Noble-Whitley Warriors on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the by a score of 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Capital HomeSchool has suffered yet this season.
It was another big night for Caidyn Berna, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds for Noble-Whitley Warriors. Berna has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. Colt Kirkpatrick was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Capital HomeSchool now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Noble-Whitley Warriors, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Capital HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Novi HomeSchool at 1:45 p.m. on February 10th.
