Basketball Recap: Portsmouth Comes Up Short

Portsmouth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 51-18 loss at the hands of the Windham Jaguars. The matchup marked the Clippers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Portsmouth's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Windham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Portsmouth will welcome Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Windham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Windham is facing Trinity at the right time seeing as Trinity is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
