Softball Recap: Mercy Beats Terra Nova for Their Third Straight Victory

Mercy entered their tilt with Terra Nova on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 15-11. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

McKenna Fua was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aveline Anderson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The victory got Mercy back to even at 6-6. As for Terra Nova, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
