Basketball Recap: Richardton-Taylor Takes a Loss

Richardton-Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-62 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beach Buccaneers. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Buccaneers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Richardton-Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Beach, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richardton-Taylor will venture away from home to square off against Washburn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Washburn will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Richardton-Taylor surely won't give up without a fight. As for Beach, they are taking a road trip to challenge South Heart at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
