Volleyball Recap: Spanish Springs Cougars vs. Galena Grizzlies

Spanish Springs gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Galena Grizzlies. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Spanish Springs wouldn't go down easily and took Galena into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 23-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Gianna Antle had a dynamite game, getting 11 digs and four aces.
