Basketball Recap: Lake Havasu Comes Up Short

Lake Havasu was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 53-17 loss at the hands of the Centennial Coyotes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-32 back in January.

Centennial's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jolie Galbreath led the charge by putting up 16 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Centennial is 5-1 when Galbreath posts three or more steals, but 2-18 otherwise. Audrey Power was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Lake Havasu's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Centennial, their record is now 7-19.

As of now, neither Lake Havasu nor Centennial have any future games scheduled.
